11. 1. Giới từ chỉ thời gian: 
 11.1.1. At: Chỉ giờ giấc, thời gian, tuổi tác 
 Eg: at 2 o’clock, at meal times, at fifty=at the age of fifty, at 
Chrismas. 
 11.1.2. On: dùng trước thứ, ngày, buổi trong ngày, thời gian, địa điểm 
 Eg: on Friday, on Wednesday morning, on Chrismas Day, on 
the morning of 7
th
 July. 
 11.1.3. In: dùng trước thời gian, địa điểm(trong, tên phố) 
 Eg:in April, in the 21
st
 century, in the evening 
11.2. Các giới từ chung: 
 11.2. 1.“About” dùng trước danh từ chỉ chủ đề (của câu truyện, cuốn 
sách) 
 Eg: Tell me about your family 
 11.2.2. “At” dùng trước danh từ trong các nhóm từ nói về vị trí, nơi chốn 
 Eg: at home, at university, at the cinema, at school, at work, at 
the end of, at the top of 
 11.2.3. “By” + Dùng trước danh từ chỉ người thực hiện 1 sự việc 
 + Trước danh từ chỉ phương tiện đi lại 
 Eg: It was written by my friend. 
 I often go to school by bus. 
 11.2.4. “ For” + Dùng trước danh từ chỉ mục đích: 
“Let’s go for a cup coffee” 
 + Chỉ khoảng thời gian : 
“I haven’t seen you for ages.”

 11.2.5. “From” + Dùng trước danh từ chỉ vị trí xuất phát , nguồn gốc 
 Where are you from? 
 I come from Viet Nam. 
 11.2.6. “To” Dùng trước danh từ chỉ nơi đến, đích đến 
 They are going to the school. 
 11.2.7. “With” Dùng trước danh từ chỉ phương tiện 
 Would you like to come with us? 
 11.2.8. “During” Dùng để nói về 1 hành động tiếp diễn trong hoảng thời 
gian bao lâu 
 Eg: During the lesson; during our vacation 
 I will come and see my grandmother during my vacation.
