Use
+ Diễn tả thói quen ở hiện tại.
+ Chỉ các quy luật, chân lí hay 1 sự thật hiển nhiên.
+ Thời gian biểu, lịch trình, tương lai gần.
+ Diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại.
+ Hành động đã được dự định, lên kế hoạch sẽ thực hiện trong tương lai gần.
+ Hành động lặp đi lặp lại, thường xuyên tái diễn ( tỏ ý khen/chê).
Sentences structure
(+) S ( I/you/we/they) + Vo
 (He/She/It) + V(s-es)
(-) S + Don’t/ Does.’t + Vo
(?) Do/Does + S + V?
(+) S + is/am/are + Ving
(-) S + is/am/are + not + Ving
(?) Is/Am/Are + S + Ving

Note
1 số verb chỉ tình trạng không có dạng Ving như: believe, belong, have, hear, know, like, love, look, need, prefer, see, think, want, wish

- The earth goes round the sun. ( Trái đất quay xung quanh Mặt trời)
- The class begins at 7 a.m. ( Tiết học bắt đầu lúc 7h )
- I’m listening to music. ( Tôi đang nghe nhạc)
- I’m going to get married next month. ( tôi sẽ cưới cô ấy vào tháng sau)
- She is such a kind person, she is always helping for other people. ( Cô ấy là 1 người tối, luôn giúp đỡ mọi người xung quanh)
