1. Với động từ “to be”: 
Wh- + Be + S ? 
Ex: Who are you? 
2. Với trợ động từ (Auxiliary verbs): am/is/are, was/were, has/have, had 
hoặc động từ khiếm khuyết (Modal verbs): can, could, will, would, shall, 
should, may, might, must,…. 
Wh- + Aux + S + V….? 
Ex: What will you buy for your daughter? 
3. Với động từ thường: 
Wh- + do/does/did + S + V ……? 
Ex: Where did you go yesterday.
