Với dạng câu hỏi này, kinh nghiệm của cô là, các em nên loại những đáp án mang tính chất 
“extreme – tuyệt đối hóa” như: it is the first time (đây là lần đầu tiên); he is the best ....(dạng so 
sánh nhất) 
Và quan trọng nhất các em lưu ý rằng: mục đích của loại câu hỏi này là muốn đánh giá khả năng 
sử dụng ngôn ngữ của em (kĩ năng paraphrase lại từ vựng) chứ không đánh giá khả năng “gia cát 
dự” của các em. 
Cô có ví dụ: 
Your clothes are wet (ướt). 
 các em không được suy là “You have just fallen into the river (bạn vừa rơi xuống sông). 
 các em chỉ được suy là “your clothes are not dry – quần áo của bạn không khô” mà thôi ^^. 
Vậy các em có thể thấy: bản ngữ chỉ đang cố gắng kiểm tra khả năng ngôn ngữ của em về 
“wet=not dry”. 
Vậy, phương pháp trả lời cho loại câu hỏi này là: tìm cụm từ đồng nghĩa với câu hỏi. 
Và, phương pháp ôn luyện: tăng cường vốn từ vựng của mình, tư duy sang cụm từ đồng 
nghĩa với từ vựng vừa học được, luyện tập kĩ năng paraphrase.

Đây là loại câu hỏi cũng có tần suất xuất hiện nhiều trong bài thi TOEIC. 
Câu hỏi không có key word nào giá trị nên các em sẽ tập trung vào loại trừ các câu trả lời. 
Đáp án sai sẽ là những đáp án: 
- Thông tin sai lệch hoàn toàn với thông tin trong bài; 
- Thông tin không xuất hiện trong bài;
