 Trong quá trình học tiếng Anh, đôi khi chúng ta phân vân sử dụng từ ngữ sao cho 
chính xác, hợp lí. Đây là một số lỗi thông thường chúng ta - những người học và sử 
dụng tiếng Anh nên tránh. 
1. Incorrect: It’s seven twenty o’clock 
 Correct: It’s seven twenty 
2. In: Your coat is broken 
 Co: Your coat is torn 
3. In: Let me help you to do your work 
 Co: Let me help you with your work 
4. In: It was so late there was no taxi 
 Co: It was so late that there was no taxi available 
5. In: Susan didn’t make a fault anyway. 
 Co : Susan didn’t make a mistake anyway 
6. In : May I borrow your phone? 
 Co: May I use your phone? 
7. Would you mind posting this letter for me? 
In: yes, certainly 
Co: Of course not. Or Not at all. 
8. In: He becomes better 
 Co: He got better. 
9. In: We’ll have a hearing test tomorrow 
 Co: We’ll have a listening test tomorrow 
10. In: I recommend you to take a long vacation. 
 Co: I recommend that you take a long vacation 
 11. The last bus leaves at eleven o’clock
